Have you ever seen employees in a store walking up and down the aisles with a check list or iPad taking stock of their current products? Usually at the beginning of the year or month, companies determine how much inventory they have so they can decide how much they might need going forward.
Taking a personal inventory is good for disciples, too. Christ-followers need to carve out time to look at their lives and identify what is growing and what is missing. A life inventory can be done weekly, monthly, or annually. What matters is that you take the time to see where you need to grow and improve. Here is a good tool I encourage you to use on a regular basis to help you develop the conduct (or actions) of Christ.
Christ-like Conduct: (Rate this mark of conduct in your life 1-10, ten being “very evident” and then write one action step you need to better demonstrate this mark in your daily life.)
Member: Are you demonstrating the mark of belonging to God’s mission and movement?

All seven of these marks of a disciple are identifiable in Jesus and should be visible in every disciple.
